The most recent published obituary.....

A pulsing rhythm arises from the underground with a twisted sensuality. Taime's dark musical vision comes to life as The Newlydeads' creation, Black and Shiny. The Newlydeads bridge the chasm between two conventions, combining the sinister elements of industrial with the sultry wail of rock. They create a unique brand of heavy that is frightenly fresh.

Assaultive guitar licks and a driving beat will either jolt you from your seat or spin you into a hypnotic trance. The Newlydeads have utilized computer-enhanced samples and effects to produce a rock record that is accessible and without clutter. The broodingly sexual and apocalyptic lyrics paint a nightmarish landscape. The Newlydeads captivate with penetrating rhythms that cling, as in "Night of the Living Dead", "Sleeping Pill", and the resurrection of Siouxsie and the Banshees', "Cities in Dust".

Cloaked in black garb, faces pale, The Newlydeads immerse themselves in a sado-sexual and shadowy realm. Taime, (formerly of Faster Pussycat / Pigface), leads the band with his gothic vocals and sordid lyrics--co-founded by Toddity on vocals and guitar. Dish, Xristian, and Danny (formerly from NY Loose / The Throbs), join Taime to form The Newlydeads.

My Eulogy.....

Hello, and welcome dear friends. Dip your fingers in the Holy water and take a swig of the sacremental wine and pass it on. We're here to remember friends, people who brough joy and happiness.... until they came to their senses and brought upon a cacophonous reign of terror to the world of music.

It all started to go bad with the demise of two perfectly respectable and honorable institutions, Faster Pussycat and Bang Tango. In rebellion (or was it simply an eveolution?) to his "FP" persona, Taime took to wearing all black and hanging out on the mean streets of Chicago with undesirables like Pigface. Finally, his true nature became known. His behavior was only encouraged by Kyle, who after Bang Tango, was eager to go out and cause some real damage. Two twisted minds with tendencies such as theirs are rarely seen twice in a century, so when they began to feed off each other we knew the end was near.

Kyle had been bossing people around for awhile when he and Taime decided to build up their house of sin that they disguised as a recording studio. Taime liked Kyle's style and they realized that their twisted minds were in sync. A infamous dynamic duo was born.

Far be it from either of them to ever go down alone, others jumped on for the ride... Todd Miller, guitarist Stacy and drummer Pepper.

Alas, the glimpse at Nirvana (the place, NOT the band you infiedel!) was too soon cut short... while on tour, the powers of good tried to stop the charchophony and taking out Kyle. They did continue on, with fellow eveil doers Xristian Simon, Kerri Kelli, and Meghan Mattox, and recorded and released the hauntingly taudry "Dead End" in 2001, with help from fellow congregants Toddity, Danny Nordhal, Kerri Kelli, the infamous "MD" and Todd Youth.

But powers that be were calling them to different places, and Taime was called back to his old brethern of Faster Pussycat with his associates Chad, Danny and Xristian for a tour and some memories.....

back to the cemetary gates....
